"One of Us - For all of Us"

Marcel Bright is a different kind of candidate for the Cook County Board.  Truth, transparency and integrity are the standards for his campaign, and if elected, his standards for the office. His only promise is that he will make all his governing decisions in the best interest of Cook County's citizens with integrity and honesty.

Marcel is a communications professional who has worked for the government at the city, county, state and federal levels.  But he has also worked in the private sector as a reporter, editor and tech company executive.

Whether as a reporter in central Illinois investigating a school superintendent for questionable contracts, or reporting malfeasance at Stroger Hospital to the County Inspector General, Marcel has sought out and exposed waste and fraud in government throughout his career.

If elected he will do the same as the Commissioner of the 4th District.
